It would be nice to be able to switch on auto-save in developer. And each save there number added to the save name. The user in settings can define how often to save.

This can sort of be like a backup restore. If your current project has a bug that causes runner or worse the developer to crash you can revert back to an earlier build/save of your project.

Having it saved sequentially means you can go back further if needed. Least you might have two saves that has bugs.

The auto-save could have its own folder so that multiple saves wont spam the main folder where you save your projects. More tidy.

As it stands now users can make manual backups but you never know when a bug or crash will occur or a power cut might occur.

Since this is intended as a backup-method, it is important that the many different backups have the same IFID as the file the user is working with. I mention this, since normally when you save under a new name, the IFID is changed.
