When I disable "Show exits from locations along with descriptions", I notice it never seems to stay set. I'm not able to ascertain just what causes it to revert, but it seemingly re-enables itself after a while.

Odd. Windows 7 (64-bit "Ultimate" edition) is precisely what I'm using!

I have just started using a "new" laptop with Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium version and if you deselect all three of the options on the General Options tab, only "Enable debugger" is saved on exit. When you re-open the developer, the top two options have been reselected.

This does NOT happen on my work PC, which runs Windows 7 Enterprise version.

Can you check that you don't have this set in any of your libraries, as I can't reproduce the issue. Look for the following line (e.g. in StandardLibrary.amf):

<ShowExits>1</ShowExits>

If it's there, delete that line.

I was at work when I saw your comment above. This "bug" does NOT occur on my work PC and searching the Standard.Library.amf file the <ShowExits>1</ShowExits> line does NOT exist. I wonder what I will find when I check my laptop at home?

I've just confirmed Lazzah's initial description of the problem. It looks like the preference on both exits and the contact menu doesn't stay saved on quitting the developer. Deleting showexits and the adjacent line about showing the context menu (I forget the exact wording, but it's the line right next to it) seems to fix the issue. It now properly remains in the state it was toggled to on quitting.

Excellent, I will close this issue off.
