The good news: this is nothing to do with those godawful teen vampire movies featuring that pasty-faced dude who was in one of the Harry Potter films. The bad news: it's bugged to high heaven.

Actually, it's probably unfair of me to accuse it of being bugged to high heaven considering I couldn't even get out of the first location. The rest of the game, which I never got to play, could well be amazing. Trying to leave the first location hits me with a confusing message that I can't do that in my present company, despite the fact that I am, to all appearances, alone.

"The Twilight" starts off bad and goes downhill from there. In the first location we have a grand total of zero items that can be examined. The cliff top, the mansion (which is actually floating in the air so you'd think it would be a prime target for some good ol' examining, but no it isn't because YOU SEE NO SUCH THING), the fog, even the very ground you're standing on hasn't been blessed with so much as a single line of text, or even an acknowledgment that it exists at all. Resorting to the HINT command doesn't really clue me in on how to make progress as it advises me to ask someone called Gale about the mansion floating overhead. Unfortunately, I've not met Gale yet and won't be able to either seeing as I can't even get out of the first location.

And that was as far as I got. One location and a score of (wait for it) 0 out of 500. Pretty good going overall.
