Specific Tasks should have the option to be hidden on the "Override/Run before/after" dropdown list. This will make finding General tasks a lot easier in big games. |

Could this also be applied to properties? Having the option to hide property items or designate them as menu items would be great because some properties are created solely for the purpose of enabling additional options and serve no interactive purpose. |

A button next to the drop-down list that toggled between general tasks (red tick icon) and specific tasks (green tick icon), would be the simplest way to keep the list shorter.
This is the same way that lists are shortened in set property actions, variable restrictions and directions, so its easy for users and works in simple mode.

You might not want ALL Specific Tasks hidden, which is why all Campbell needs to do is extend "Prevent this task from being inherited" in the Advanced tab to apply to Specific Tasks as well. That way Specific Tasks that you might want to override with other Specific Tasks will still appear on the list. |

I would recommend doing both, as the list of tasks can get really really really long in a large game. |

I've fixed the checkbox so it should be enabled whenever a Specific task has a "free" reference, allowing these to be hidden from the list. I'm not sure the button toggle would be ideal as it's a very small subset of Specific tasks that are included in the list. |
