If you select the "run before" option in a specific task then by default the two tick boxes "Display parent message" and "Execute parent actions" are not ticked.
But this is not a valid state, and when you close and re-open the task it has changed itself into an override task while you wearn't watching.

It would be better if both boxes were automatically selected whenever you switch from "override" to "run before".
Also, it should either be impossible to de-select BOTH of the tick boxes at the same time, OR, if it does let you do so, then it should immediately switch back to "Override" instead of waiting until the task is closed and doing it behind your back.

Also, when you create a NEW task (from the toolbar or right-clicking on a folder) it starts out as a general task which you then usually change to a specific task, and that specific task is initially set to run-before.
It would be better to default to "Override" as that is the most commonly used, and it would probably also be better to default a new task to a specific task rather than a general task as they are more common.

It will now warn the user that this is equivalent to Override, and prompt to change it.

I've also changed the default Specific task to Override. I used to have it default to Specific tasks, but changed it to General because it confused new users. So I've linked this to the Simple Mode option - if Simple Mode is on it will default to General tasks. If it's off, it will default to System tasks.
