If the Player character is updated in the library, it will overwrite the custom player in an adventure.

Need to prevent this from overwriting, unless Player in game has not been touched.

Any library item that is modified will now no longer be marked as a library item. Therefore, if an updated library item comes in, any customisations will no longer be overwritten.

This goes for any item type, not just Characters or the Player.
