Currently, the Add Specific Task menu on an object displays all tasks with an object reference. This should look at restrictions on the task, so for example, it shouldn't offer "move into <the object>" unless the object has been defined as one in which characters can enter.

This would greatly reduce the list, making easier to find the task you want.
