If I enter connections via the map that are unorthodox (say north from location 1 to location 2 and west from location 2 to location 1) The map draws the link as I would expect (a line going from location 1 north to location 2 west).

However if I enter these same directions from the edit location pane and then go to the map view, the links are shown as two one-way links (north from location 1 to location 2 south and west from location 2 to location 1 east).

This is deliberate. I want the location editor to assume that any direction goes to the opposite direction from the destination location, as I think this will be what is desired in most cases. The map editor then allows a more detailed customisation of the links.

So in the example above, adding north from 1 to 2 will create a link south from 2 to 1. Then going into location 2 and adding west will add a link back east from 1 to 2.

I’m not sure how I would easily change this, and there may be times when this is what is desired.
