It would be useful to define a property for "items" rather than specifically objects, locations and characters.

This would allow you to create a common property such as "odour", which, when used in conjunction with an %item% reference (see http://www.adrift.co/bug/64), would allow you create tasks that covered all item types, such as "smell %item%".
