Summary of problem:
Normally if you load a project manually via Open it will keep the Save As folder as the same folder from which you opened the project and name of game/project. Opening a project/game from 'Recent Documents' retains previous projects name of game/project and previous game/project folder when using Save As. [Note: this is more in the case of choosing a file from 'Recent docments' in 2nd instance, as when you first load the Dev and choose a 'recent document', this issue doesn't occur, until you do it again with another file in same session of the Dev running]

Opening a file via 'Recent Documents':
Save As, shows last folder that a Save As was used or from an project you manually opened eg. Open (not recent documents). What can happen though is if you change to a different project selecting it from the 'Recent Documents' list and later go to use Save As, the previous project folder is opened (not the current project you opened from 'Recent Documents'. I hope this is clear?

Also any 'Recent Documents' in the projects Options for title/name of game still has the previous project/game. This DOES NOT happen if you manually load a game using OPEN.

So if you have opened a project or game via 'Recent Documents' and when wanting to overwrite a backup file you can- if not looking properly accidentally select the wrong file because the previous project/game folder is open (more so if you are in a habit of adding your own pseudo extension before the actual,eg. GameNameBkUP.taf this scenario of overwriting wrong file can happen especially if been working on Adrift for most of the day or evening and you are tired and your mind is working a persisting problem with project. This has nearly caught me out a few times (and i think i have overwritten a file by mistake this way too) since i often switch between projects using Recent Documents list.

So my suggestion is when selecting a project from 'Recent Documents' to set have the Save As folder set to that filepath of project selected from that list and the name of the game is changed to the one you opened from 'Recent Documents'. (I am beginning to think i should of listed this as a bug).

*Edited- to make more sense*

This has happened to me again, lost hours of work. Recent Documents that are loaded, Adrift does not update current folder to the recent document opened. So if you are working on several different demos in the course of the day and are not paying attention you can save your demo over top of another.

From now on i will not use the Recent Documents list, its handy to quickly load a previous recent project but it is costly to lose a whole days work because the folder system when you click on save will be which ever project you last saved.

Please make it when you open a Recent document that the save folder will be for THAT opened document! This is more disheartening when you have a complex project that may be hard to replicate.
