Currently when you move the player to a new location often the map does not update properly and no location is highlighted yellow of the center of the map.
This confuses players as to where they are and in some cases breaks gameplay flow. Example. I made a math game where the player climbs up a mountain by getting a math question correct, when they reach the top it loads a new map screen from which the start at the bottom, only it doesn't show the very bottom location so you cannot see where you are or choose the new location to jump to.
Of course one could adjust the map themselves but new players will not know how to do this.
I would like to see changes where Adrift map is forced to properly update the map when the Player character is moved to an new location via an action, where the map centered this location in the middle of the map screen. There is an option to do this in runner but even selected it doesnt work properly when you have a task move the player, hence this post.
