EDIT: Sorry, this is not infact broken. I forgot that you have to enclose the variable name within double quotes to get this to work. I.e. Set %textvar1% to "%textvar2%". This item should be closed.

However, every time you go back in to edit the expression, the quotes disappear. It would be nice if that was fixed or the quotes were not needed.

Cannot copy a value from a text variable, array or otherwise, into any other variable. No error message, but the target variable remains unchanged.

E.g. Set '%textvar1% to '%textvar2%' does nothing.
