Would you be willing to make it so that typing the save command will bring up the "save as" dialogue rather than just overwriting your game without asking? This way players won't end up overwriting a game by accident.

"save" is designed to overwrite the last game. If you want to save under a unique name you can type "save game1", "save game2" etc. Or if you want the dialog box up again just type "save as".

Perhaps then if you type save alone it just ask for a confirmation? IE:
"Overwrite existing game castle.SAV?"
