Tasks executed in task actions should have their own set of references rather than using parent task refs.

I'm not sure what this error refers to. In 5.0.34.1 each task called as an action can be given parameters. If you leave them at their default values, they will inherit %character%, %location%, and %object%, etc., from the task that calls them, which seems appropriate, though you can also change those to other functions, too, if you need to.
