The game here is nothing special-- in fact, it's plainly terrible. Creating a terrible game in itself is no hard feat, but with all of the added documentation (including a mock interview, mock blog updates from the beginning and end of the project, and more in the game itself) the game is clearly attempting to say something about the process of creating and releasing a game on the internet. *That

  • portion is done well, so the message is not a hard one to get.

  • Overall, "The Professional" a pointed call for humility in authorship. The game this game is actually about cannot be recommended by any stretch of the imagination, but its clear message certainly can.

What can I say? With superb descriptions, biting social commentary, humorous characters that abound, and a replayability value of several hundred times that of lesser games, this may be the best game ever!

(I would actually write a real review of this game, but that would just be silly, as the game makes it quite clear that it wants to be mocked.)
