If we use a function like %object%.Contents.List and one of the objects inside of %object% is a closed box (with nothing on top of it) then it will print something like:

the flower, the pen and the box. Nothing is on or inside the box

which is completely misleading, as there could be lots of things in the box.
It would be better to say:

the flower, the pen and the box. The box is closed
