If you create a new room in the map window the new room may appear in a folder other than locations. First time It placed several rooms in the objects folder, then it would place them in the hints folder.

Figured out how the creator decides which folder to put newly created items.
Is there any easy way to view all entries of a specific type regardless of which folder they are placed in? For example you want a quick list of all characters or locations. If not it may be a nice feature to add.

I agree, being able to search for a particular item type would be a very useful feature. I also want to improve the folder selection when you just add a single item.

I've had the same issue. In my case I cannot locate the rooms in any folders. Although I have folders that list no items when they show 15 items(for example) at the bottom. Everything in the standard library isn't showing.

(update) Found how to unhide the standard Library. I have 14 rooms that appear on my map, can be edited, and do not appear in any folder. All rooms are on a single layer. I had some issues with the map moving rooms to the same layer when links are made, so this layer has the same name as an earlier layer I had to delete.

I have made a backup of my dev files should you wish to examine it.

asurin, that could be bug 18821 that you're seeing. If you send me your file I should be able to fix it.

Locations added to the map were always going into the folder where the last item was added when clicking on the main toolbar. Fixed.
