Currently scope checking happens before restrictions are acted upon. This means that any disambiquity requests also happen before restricitons are acted upon.

Meaning in a dark room where there a two similar items the player is asked for object clarification before being told that the object cannot be seen because it is too dark. Thus, potentially, giving away spoilers.
