Cursor  Variable list enhancement

I’m using a couple of variables: Bullets_fired & Bullets_left in order to keep track of how many bullets the player has fired.
When I need to change the variable in the action of the task I can pick the variable in question from the variable list. But I have to manually write the name of the variable I am changing.
Set Bullets_fired = %Bullets_fired% -3 (I have to manually write the %Bullets_fired%)
Would it be possible to make a drop down list of all variables so I can pick it from there?
