The Map is accessed initially from the VIEW Tab, and only when clicked on from there does the actual MAP tab appear in the menu bar. It then disappears when the map is closed.

It seems like it would be more user friendly if the MAP had it's own tab from the start and always showed on the File Menu, and the map itself would only show if that tab was selected. So if the map would be in an always open state on the Map Tab, and if someone clicked on the HOME or VIEW tab, the map wouldn't show.

Would this be a simple change, or potentially 'break' things?
