This would be a new action where it will output a specified bit of text to the screen.

So you could have:

Set variable MyNumber to 1
Output text "MyNumber is %MyNumber%"
Increase variable MyNumber by 1
Output text "MyNumber is now %MyNumber%"

So the output would be:

MyNumber is 1
MyNumber is now 2

And those Output text actions could also contain waitkey, e.g.

Output text "<waitkey>"

This would have the effect of pausing the processing so that the Runner would not "skip" a location where text is displayed and no gameplay takes place (i.e. just a keypress happens). See forum thread http://forum.adrift.co/viewtopic.php?f=14&p=99983#p99929
