If you use a loop in an execute task action then you can pass the value of the %Loop% variable to the task in a %number% reference.
You can use this value in references and actions, and you can print it if you have aggregation turned off.

However, if aggregation is turned on and you try to print %number% then you get 1|2|3|4 instead of 1, 2, 3 and 4.
If you try to use the number in a function or to lookup an array such as %Weekday[%number%]% then you get an error.
