We already have "Follow Character" availabe as a step in an NPC walk, but what about a "Follow/Find Object" that could lead the NPC to the location of an object?

Revisited this suggestion and realized the work around for this is rather simple - create and update a room group containing the location of the object.

It also gets around the problem of sending a character to an object set to static that exists in multiple locations, though getting to the closest instance of such an object would be close enough in my opinion, but here again static objects existing in more than one location already use room groups.

On that note I've changed the priority to low, though it can be closed as I have a way to do this if I need it.
